Meet the Captain

Marine Trust Agency is built on 29 years of firsthand maritime experience — from the bridge of a vessel to the helm of Egypt’s most strategic offshore petroleum terminal.

Capt. Adel Hassan

Chairman — Marine Trust Agency

For more than 29 years, Captain Adel Hassan has served at the forefront of Egyptian maritime and petroleum terminal operations. As Marine Operations Manager and Head of Pilots at Marsa El Hamra under EGPC, he held direct command over one of Egypt’s most critical offshore crude export facilities for 13 continuous years — overseeing all tanker movements, SBM and CBM pilotage, and marine safety operations with an unblemished record of efficiency and safety.

Master Mariner & Chief Pilot

Former Head of Pilots — Marsa El Hamra (EGPC)

As a qualified Ship Master and Chief Pilot, Captain Hassan brings to Marine Trust Agency a depth of operational authority that is unique in the Egyptian port agency sector. His command of SBM and CBM offshore mooring systems — combined with six years of active collaboration with a leading international partner alongside EGPC — reflects a standard of maritime professionalism built on decades of real operational responsibility, not simply administration.
